Installed in RL Wyman Design + Create #10 for this year’s Parade of Homes, this 9648 vault door from Fort Knox pushes beyond standard security and into true custom craftsmanship. Everything about this installation was chosen with intention.

The 9648 platform is larger and more commanding than the traditional 8240, creating a wider, more dramatic entry into the vault space. Built with Fort Knox heavy steel construction and reinforced structure, it delivers the kind of strength expected in a dedicated safe room inside a luxury home.

What sets this door apart immediately is the custom Ferrari Grigio paint finish. Sleek, automotive inspired, and unmistakably refined, it gives the vault entry a performance driven aesthetic that feels more like a supercar detail than a traditional security feature.

Black chrome hardware accents add depth and contrast against the Grigio finish, keeping the overall look sharp and cohesive. The outswing configuration preserves full interior space within the vault room and enhances structural integrity at the opening.

Access is controlled through a biometric lock system, allowing rapid fingerprint entry while maintaining high level security. Inside, the black velour interior wrap softens the steel and delivers a clean, tailored finish that matches the rest of the home’s elevated design language.
