The American Security UBS648 is the perfect design to securely store your rifle under your bed, plus with its electronic lock you can gain quick access to your rifle, shotgun or other small handgun in the case of an emergency. This is exactly what our friends over at American Security were thinking when they developed the UBS648 Under Bed Defense Safe. The first feature most notable about the UBS648 under the bed safe is American Security's ESL5-LP Electronic Lock. This UL Listed lock actually illuminates when touched allowing you to see the numbers in the dark. Once the correct combination is entered on the lock, you can now slide the five-point locking bar to open the door of the UBS648 safe. Once the door has dropped, you can now slide out the foam-padded tray. This tray is designed to store your favorite home defense weapon without fear of it getting scratched. Weighing in at 80 lbs, the UBS648 under the bed safe defense vault comes with 18-gauge and heavy duty 7-gauge construction.
